Enterprise Information Services

This site employs a blue and white theme with images of technology throughout to reflect the IT-based nature of the company. It also features themes of military and various branches of the government to reflect the company’s primary clientele. I built this site from scratch, installing WordPress on our hosting, then building each page from the ground up. This redesign replaced our previous outdated site, giving the company a fresh, modern look and leading to an average of 11,000 hits per month. Created in WordPress.

Pam Banegas Photography

Every detail of this website revolves around showcasing this photographer’s amazing work. From the “full screen” home page images to the interactive gallery that pulls directly from her Instagram feed, I wanted to make her photos the main priority. Excellent reviews and links to all her social media sites only further highlighting what makes Pam an outstanding photographer. Built by me using Squarespace.

Reston Community Church

This site was designed with community in mind: With easy-to-use features and navigation, the client hoped for any local resident to be able to engage with the site. Real photos and videos of the church community, plus a clean, straightforward design give the site that engaging feel. Working with the client, I built out the structure of the site, developed pages, and migrated content over from their old website, helping to customize the look and feel of the site in the process. Built using Subsplash.

Distinguished Engagements

A local catering service had an archaic website with outdated information. I created the new website with a focus on the company’s dedication to quality and excellent customer service. Sample menus, rave customer reviews, and close-up photos of mouth-watering food all highlight what sets Distinguished Engagements apart. Created, designed, and customized by me using WordPress.

Pure Birth Doula

I created this website start-to-finish for a local doula named Susie. She wanted the site to have a natural, organic feel, using pale pink and peach colors. The photos of Susie with mothers she’s attended, plus those of natural milk baths, etc., help visitors feel warmly invited. It features parallax images, clear content blocks, and a simple navigation. Because she wanted to make her resources available only to clients, I password-protected her Resources page. Layout,  design, and implementation were all done by me using Squarespace.
